First we used Umbrella, then we went to DNS Filter. Now on Zorus, and it’s awesome! Have also checked out ScoutDNS and they are my favorite out of the pure play DNS players. Umbrella, DNS Filter and ScoutDNS all are agent based and take over all port 53 traffic, and set DNS to 127.0.0.1 pointing to the agent. Zorus does not, it sits in line with the network traffic and we have had far fewer issues on domain joined machines with Zorus than any other. Also the updates are super quick if you ned to block or allow something, within seconds, where DNS filter would take days at times.
